Accessibility Statement

Tension One LLC wants tension1.com to be usable by everyone who works with post-tensioned slabs, including people who navigate with a keyboard, use a screen reader, zoom the page or prefer reduced motion.

Standard targeted

The reference is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, published by the W3C in October 2023, at conformance level AA. This is a target, not a claim of conformance: the site has not been audited by a third party to date.

Measures in place

• A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page, leading straight to the main content.
• Every page declares its language (American English) and carries a single main heading.
• Every image uploaded through the site's back office must carry a text alternative before it can be saved.
• Navigation menus, breadcrumbs and pagination mark the current page for assistive technology.
• Form fields have visible or screen-reader labels.
• Article cards, buttons and the testimonial carousel stop their animations when the device is set to prefer reduced motion.
• Text is real text, never baked into images, so it can be resized, translated and read aloud.

Known limitations

• The contact form uses a third-party verification challenge (Google reCAPTCHA) to block spam. Some users may find it difficult. If it stops you, write to the email address below instead.
• Downloadable resources, such as the Excel toolkit, are spreadsheets built for desktop software and have not been tested with screen readers.
• Keyboard focus is not yet styled consistently on every component.
• Older articles may contain images or tables that predate the current publishing checks. They are corrected as they are revised.
